the new frontier of robots
inspection and video surveillance
FRUIT of 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD
"The SAFER robot, built on the NR-CORE-B1 platform, is the next generation of the RARO robot. This advancement is a result of the vast experience and expertise we've gained in mobile robotics and video surveillance over the past 20 years, during which we've developed more than 80 prototypes and products.
Full functionality for INDOOR and/or OUTDOOR applications even in the absence of light such as warehouse surveillance, underground inspection or night use.
Configurable with 2WD and 4WD tractions in order to easily overcome obstacles and adapt to different types of terrain that it detects with the integrated inertial platform.
Completely self-sufficient in carrying out autonomous navigations and patrols, whether scheduled or event-based, autonomously directing itself to the critical point, identifying and circumventing obstacles present on the route.
Easy to use thanks to its autonomous and assisted driving systems via Joystick, Smartphone, Touchscreen, mouse
The dynamics of the vehicle allows both rotation on the spot and an inversion of the steering axles, essential functions for a wide flexibility of movement and for being able to operate in narrow spaces
The 360° vision allows you to detect everything around you at the same time
The two-way audio allows you to communicate with people directly from the remote operations center.
The independent and secure connection to the CLOUD (optional) via VPN via infrastructure Wi-Fi or 4G data allows for an increase in decision-making and active detection capabilities with video analysis via AI. The output of what is detected is sent in an optimized form to the operations center
Continuous operation 7/24 even during (fast) charging, an autonomy of 8 hours in continuous monitoring, and different levels of energy saving to reach up to 3 months of autonomy.
In the event of an alarm being detected, in addition to informing the operations center with position, images and details, use the following as deterrents: SIREN, STROBE LIGHTS or FLASHING LIGHT
Its small dimensions and low weight make it possible to transport the robot in a car trunk
NAVIGATION
In un utilizzo ordinario il robot si muove in totale autonomia all'interno degli spazi definiti:
In ordinary use the robot moves in total autonomy within the defined spaces:
In some extraordinary or emergency cases it may be necessary to take direct control of the robot from the operations center. Here are some features of this navigation mode:
DOUBLE MOVEMENT MODE
TO HAVE MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY
In this mode the central camera holder rod is lowered and the steering is front as in classic road vehicles. This configuration of use provides a lower center of gravity, greater control and stability of the vehicle and overall greater travel speed.
Once the interested area has been reached, the Robot changes configuration, the rod is raised to have a greater view and the driving mode is changed with steering wheels on the rear axle (as in forklifts or fork-lifts), guaranteeing rotations on the spot and greater maneuverability for be able to operate even in confined spaces
ROBOT CONTROL DASHBOARD
A well-designed operator control interface is essential for maximizing the efficiency of a robot. Leveraging our extensive experience in robotics, we have developed a web-based control interface that can be accessed through any standard web browser, eliminating the need for any client-side software installation. This interface is highly versatile and compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, OS, and Android.
The interface allows you to have 3 different levels of users:
PANORAMIC VISION, CLOUD and AI
The new generation camera has a complete and panoramic 360° view. This allows you to get up everything around the robot at any time without blind spots.
In normal operating conditions, the remote operator driving the robot will only see a portion of this panoramic view, typically the front part of it, but will have the freedom to move the portion of view as he wishes.
The sequences of these images can be stored locally and/or sent to the CLOUD for advanced video analysis.
Processing of the acquired images via AI allows you to perform tasks more accurately and precisely by instantly recognizing people, objects, vehicles and return to the operations center the descriptive elements that are detected in the 360° panoramic images around the robot, providing for each an estimated alarm level generated by the AI algorithms
In CLOUD a dedicated area will be available to view the status of your robot fleet in real time, indicating for each:
The data is sent from the ROBOT to the CLOUD via MQTT/API standards and can also be integrated with other information systems based on IoT standards
Twenty years of experience has taught us that the installation and commissioning phase of the robot on site are complex and delicate activities that must be followed with extreme care and attention. This has allowed us to optimize them over time, reaching excellent levels of quality and reliability.
The fundamental steps for correct commissioning follow:

6.5" wheels: 2WD 0.5KW - 4WD 1KW
Dimensions: 60 x 80 x 40 (cm)
Operating temperatures: -10° + 50° C
Navigation speed: up to 50 km/h
Surveillance speed: 1-4 km/h
Autonomy in continuous patrol: 8 hours - NiMh batteries
Autonomy with high energy level: up to 3 months
Vision system: 360° panoramic + AI
